Please be sure to fill out the Authorization for Service completely and include with the watch for any kind of service we offer. Service for watches that are received at DWS without this form will be delayed for identification.

All watches are scrutinized meticulously when received, photographed for security reasons and to establish evidence of the condition of the watch when received at DWS, logged in and issued a production service number.  We do this also for proof of condition in case of damage (unlikely) by the carrier when we ship it back to our customer.

Most service is completed within 7 to 10 days after your timepiece is received.

You will be notified via email if other parts and/or labor services are needed to enhance the appearance or reliability of your watch, giving you an option to choose or not, or for special parts orders.

For instance, if we receive a watch to replace the mineral glass crystal with a harder more scratch resistant Sapphire crystal, and we discover that the setting crown is worn out and the setting stem has rust on it meaning that the crown gasket has been breached and water has leaked inside the watch, we will discount the new part or parts by up to 50% and give the customer an option to choose to have the add-on work done or not.  It is just as easy to replace the old part with the new parts while replacing the crystal.

Water-resistancy is not a permanent function of any watch and DWS can not  guarantee your watch to remain water resistant for any length of time after it leaves our facility since there are circumstances beyond our control. See 'How Water Resistant is Your Watch'.
